Exciting Update for the Outing!

We are pleased to announce that the BJG Memorial Golf Outing is able to host our registration, silent auction, and dinner indoors as we have in years past. We’ll have both indoor and outdoor seating for dinner to accommodate everyone’s preference!

We also still have room on the golf course, so even if you don’t have a foursome we can match you up with a fun group of golfers!

Please reach out with any questions - we can’t wait to see you all!

14th Annual Brendan J. Giblin Memorial Golf Outing Set for June 25th 2021

Friends,

We hope you will be able to join us this year at the Annual Outing. I'm sure we can all use some time away from home and we hope that the weather is nice and the restrictions are a memory. We have established a website this year to make it easier for you to see what we are planning and to register for the outing and some other events that we have in the planning stages. You can also follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook if you have a mind to.

As you know, we were unable to host the event last year due to the pandemic but so many of you were extremely generous on the virtual event that we were able to make several large distributions to St. Joe's, University of Scranton, JECS of South Jersey and Temple University's Center for Hope. So while this is the fourteenth outing, it is actually our Fifteenth year of operations. It is also Brendan's fifteenth year since graduation so we hope to celebrate with many of his classmates this year.

We know how difficult it is to take time to attend and contribute, especially this year in such a time of crisis, and we appreciate deeply your effort to support some truly wonderful scholars, schools, medical research and autism support groups.

We would like to fill all 27 holes with golfers this year so please feel free to invite any of your friends, family, and co-workers to attend. We can match up anyone with some of the friendliest people in New Jersey. Foursomes, threesomes, twosomes, and singles are all welcome. Hopefully, the pool will be open for all the kids to enjoy during the day.

If you plan on attending and want to pay the day of, it would be a great help if you could send a quick e-mail to us at marybgiblin@gmail.com or admin@bjgmemorial.com. If you cannot attend or contribute, we hope to see you next year and truly appreciate your consideration and kindness.

Thank you so much,
The Giblin Family

Welcome to the Brendan J. Giblin Memorial Fund Website

Welcome to the BJG Memorial Fund Website!

Welcome to the Brendan J. Giblin Memorial Fund website!

To know Brendan was to love Brendan, and so it was only fitting for the Giblin family to create the BJG Memorial Fund after Brendan’s tragic passing in 2006. The fund has hosted a golf outing each year since 2007 at the Ramblewood Country Club in Mount Laurel, NJ and raised funds that benefit multiple organizations and institutions that were near and dear to Brendan.

We are so excited to finally launch an official website (better late than never)!

This site will allow you to stay up-to-date on the annual golf outing, register for the golf outing, and donate to the fund at any time throughout the year. We also have some additional things planned for the website, including biographies about the fund scholarship recipients, future blog posts sharing stories and memories, and more.

Once a Royal, always a Royal.
